Mumbai Bus Malak Sanghathana (MBMS) is an apex association of bus owners from MMRDA region of Maharashtra, with over 400+ members, formed and registered in the year 2009 under Trade Union Act, Regn. No. A.L.C./EST.-17/10442. Comprising of bus owners of all segments of operations namely School buses, Employees buses, Intercity buses, Tourist buses, Foreign tourist buses, Stu operators.
MBMS was formed with a common goal of betterment of passenger road transport industry in MMR and neighbouring areas, with regular follow-ups with authorities and concerned for matters relating with our industry. Guidance and assistance is given to all its members in legal and other industry related issues.
Members can also avail of special schemes, discount offers and other benefits from manufacturers and dealers.
Legal Help
MBMS has filed several cases affecting bus industry in Maharashtra, and thru BOCI on national level. Many cases have yielded positive verdicts. Also members can approach for individual legal guidance.
Fiscal Advising
MBMS helps its members to stay updated with the latest taxation laws by appointing professional consultants. Also members are assisted in dealing with banks, NBFC's for finance.
Qualified Protection
Representations made to various Govt. agencies against policies and harassment by their Officials. Also submitting the suggestions for modifications of rules in the interest of the hotel industry.
Networking
MBMS has tied up with manufacturers, service providers, dealers, financers for better deals for its members and discounted rates.
Grievances
Though various sub-committees and regional committee’s members can approach and seek proper guidance in solving their Police, RTO, Traffic and other industry related issues.
Regular training and seminars are organised for the benefit of its members to keep them updated and impart knowledge of the latest in the industry. Drivers are given training sessions on safe driving tips and refresher courses are conducted.
